I very quickly grew comfortable with Maria, as she is a kind person, an active listener, and an excellent communicator. She has an innate ability to encourage one to see a situation from another, or several, perspectives. While at first I saw her as the approving Mother that I spoke to once a week to encourage me onward with my artistic pursuits, she soon became a small voice in my head that helped me manage many different situations at any given time. That voice was at first Maria's, but now it has transformed into my own encouraging voice. She gave me many techniques to better manage my life and attitude towards it. In the end, my whole family has benefited directly from my work with her. I am happy pursuing a new profession, we have moved closer to my husband's work and very recently my husband changed jobs, after 13 years, to do something that makes him happier and more relaxed. Maria always gave me enormous credit for my "powerfulness" and for the changes I chose to make to create a better life. However, I do know that I would not be where I am without her guidance, her support and her sensitivity. I feel very fortunate to have found such an excellent coach as Maria.
